New Enhancements Are Coming to the Learning Center
Happy New Year! The Learning Center will receive major updates in 2015. Here’s a quick summary of three items that are coming soon:
Messaging: Educators will be able to post notices to classes or individual students directly through the Learning Center.
Vocabulary Plus—Independent (VPI): A new mode of Vocabulary Plus, VPI brings adaptive technology to the Learning Center. With VPI, students log in, complete a brief assessment, and are assigned appropriate online lessons from Vocabulary Plus—all without need for teachers to configure and manage assignments. VPI provides individualized instruction, and it adapts to each student to keep him or her challenged. With VPI, students have access to all the content of Vocabulary Plus uniquely tailored to them.
Electronic Townsend Library and Bluford Series Assignments: Activities and tests from our Townsend Library and Bluford Series teacher guides are coming to the Learning Center! Educators will have the option of assigning these materials online like any other assignment.
These are just some of the new features coming to the Learning Center in 2015. More are on the way too! We’ll post updates here each time we release new items.
