What's New for Fall 2024

We're thrilled to announce a number of enhancements in the Learning Center. All are available now for immediate use. Here's what's new:

• The Learning Center is now compatible with D2L / Brightspace! For years, educators have requested it; today we've delivered it. Harnessing LTI 1.3, this update brings single sign-on (SSO) capability and gradebook posting to D2L / Brightspace.  Setup requires coordination between Townsend Press and your D2L / Brightspace administrator. Email us here if you have questions. 

• A progress bar has been added to all assignments. Students can now see at a glance how many items they've completed AND how many remain for each activity. This progress bar is located just below the assignment title. Hovering or "mousing" over it reveals progress details. 

• Teachers can now copy dates and assignments from one class to another. This feature will simplify class setup for teachers who wish to apply existing course content to another class. 

• Other minor enhancements were added that improve the visibility of assignment and enrollment notifications to teachers, and streamline how books appear when editing or adding assignments.
