Welcome Back! What’s New for Fall 2025

We’re excited to begin the 2025–2026 academic year with you! Over the summer, we added several enhancements to the Learning Center—all ready for immediate use. Here’s what’s new:

• Dark Mode. Long hours on a screen can cause eyestrain, especially in low-light settings. To help, we’ve added Dark Mode to the Learning Center. Accessible from the new icon on the right side of the navigation bar, this feature lets you optimize the site for nighttime or low-light viewing. Dark Mode also extends to our ebook reader, where students can now choose the brightness level that works best for them.
• Zoom Controls. Adjust text size quickly without changing browser or phone settings. Located just below the Dark Mode icon, the new zoom controls make it easier to customize your display. A related upgrade to the ebook reader can maximize ebook pages for better viewing on tablets and smartphones.
• Sound Settings. Users can now personalize sounds for correct and incorrect answers—or turn them off entirely. You can even choose which sounds to play! Find these options and more under the settings icon in the upper-right corner.
• Progress Bar. All assignments now feature a progress bar, so students can easily see how much they’ve completed and what’s left to do. Hovering over the bar provides detailed progress information.
• Improved Date/Time Inputs. Entering dates and times for assignments is now simpler and more intuitive.
• Updated Design. Crisper fonts, stronger contrast, and bolder colors make assignments, tests, and activities clearer and more accessible across the Learning Center.
