Meet AI Assistant: A New Feature in Vocabulary Plus

AI Assistant, an all-new enhancement, is debuting today as a public beta in Vocabulary Plus. Accessed in Class Settings, AI Assistant automatically evaluates student-written sentences—so you don't have to. Equipped with the key definitions of all 1,700 words in the Townsend Press Vocabulary Series, AI Assistant analyzes students' sentences to determine whether they demonstrate understanding of their vocabulary words. It also provides real-time, item-specific feedback, allowing students to revise sentences that were incorrect or partially correct. With AI Assistant, students no longer have to wait for feedback, and teachers no longer have to set aside time to review sentences—unless they want to. 

All evaluations are transparent and visible to teachers who wish to review them.  AI Assistant works just as its name suggests: as a helpful—and completely optional—classroom aide for both teachers and students.
