Introducing Class Numbers and more...

1. We Added a Simpler Enrollment Method. Introducing Class Numbers, a feature that allows students to easily join your class. Starting today, all Learning Center classes have been assigned a unique 7-digit Class Number (you may have noticed it). Share that number with students you wish to enroll. When students enter it in their accounts, they’ll join your class. We've even added a video to show students what to do. 


2. We Released New Lessons to accompany Clear Thinking and Writing, 2/e. The lessons teach key grammar skills and can be added to class assignments in the Learning Center starting today.  


3. We Added a New Readings Bank to English Plus. Looking for fresh, engaging essays for middle school, high school, and college readers? The English Plus Readings Bank gives you 50! Each comes with a brief synopsis, assignments, and Lexile readability score. These lively essays will energize class discussions.


4. We Released Assignments for The Chosen, the newest addition to the Bluford Series. Available now at no charge, they include reading comprehension items, open-ended writing prompts, and lively discussion topics to deepen readers' enjoyment of the book.

And in case you missed it, here are two other recent enhancements:

• We Added Flashcards to Vocabulary Plus. Flashcards, a brand new Unit Review activity, allows students to quiz themselves and reinforce their knowledge of newly-learned words. Flashcards can be added to Learning Center classes just like any other assignment. 


• We Merged College Reading Essentials and Ten Steps Plus. This change brings to Ten Steps Plus a new ebook, tests, and activities covering these seven key reading skills: Vocabulary in Context, Main Idea, Supporting Details, Transition Words, Patterns of Organization, Inferences, and Argument and Logic. Assignments are carefully leveled from grades 8 to 12, and an Independent Study mode is also included.
